The death toll of Indians in the Haj stampede has gone up to 74. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj informed this via a Twitter post today. Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh rushed to Saudi Arabia yesterday to coordinate with the authorities there to trace the missing Indians. According to Saudi authorities, 769 pilgrims lost their lives in the stampede near the holy city of Mecca on September 24.
