The annual Haj pilgrimage is underway in Saudi Arabia. Pilgrims have reached Muzdalifah to spend night under open sky after spending the day in Arafat today, reciting prayers. Saudi authorities have made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the annual pilgrimage being performed by more than 25 Lakh pilgrims.More than 1 lakh 70 thousand Indian pilgrims are taking part in the Haj pilgrimage this year. A 30-member Haj goodwill delegation headed by chief justice of Andhra Pradesh High court, Justice Nisar Ahmad Kakru is also accompanying the Indian pilgrims.Indian consul, Haj at the Indian consulate at Jeddah B S Mubarak told our West Asia correspondent Dhirendra Ojha today that all administrative and medical service arrangements are in place to help perform the rituals in a safe and orderly manner.
