The international body in charge of rebuilding Haiti after January's devastating earthquake, has begun distributing some of the five billion dollars in aid, promised by donors. The Interim Haiti Reconstruction Committee approved 45 million dollars in direct funding for the Haitian government's budget. It also approved 20 million dollars in loans for smaller and medium companies to help rebuild the economy.
