The American Missionaries charged last week in Haiti with attempting to kidnap 33 children have for the first time been giving their account of events to a judge. Five of the ten American missionaries appeared, and the rest would do so on Tuesday. They said the children were orphaned in last month's devastating earthquake. But it was later discovered that many of the children had parents.
