The United Nations has said, violent demonstrations that forced it to suspend relief operations in Northern Haiti were politically motivated. The UN spokesman said, people behind the demonstrations wanted to disrupt the elections later this month.A cholera outbreak in Haiti has now killed more than 1100 people and some Haitians have accused Nepalese UN peace-keepers of bringing the disease into the country.
