Renowned Islamic intellectual and head of the Dar-ul-uloom Devband Maulana Margubur Rahman is dead. He was 96. He died in Bijnore district in Uttar Pradesh today after prolong illness. Born in 1914 in Bijnore Maulana Margubur Rahman became Mohattamim (head) of Dar-ul Uloom Devband in 1982. His intellectual capability was respected throughout in the Islamic community and his admirers are throughout the world.According to his last wishes he will be buried in Devband in Saharanpur late in the night today.
