H1N1 toll reaches 200 in China

In China, the death toll from H1N1 flu has hit 200 with almost all of the deaths recorded last month. In a statement, the health ministry said 194 of the deaths from the influenza A(H1N1) virus had been reported during the month. Quoting a ministry official the Beijing News today said cold weather was behind the rapid rise in fatalities. The Ministry said over 92 thousand cases of H1N1 flu were reported by the end of last month, when China had vaccinated nearly 27 million people. It said Beijing aims to vaccinate up to 65 million people by the end of the year.<br/>
