The National Commission for Women Chairperson Mamta Sarma met Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today on the issue of the molestation of a girl on 9th July night in Guwahati. She arrived in Guwahati to investigate the molestation case this morning . Earlier, the Commission sent a 2 members fact findings team to Guwahati.But uproar began when Alka Lamba, a member of the investigation team revealed the identity of the victim. Later she was removed from the team. Assam Police so far arrested 12 culprits who molested the girl. Assam Police has been asked to remain alert to nab the culprits.
