In Haryana, Punjab and Chandigarh, Guru Ravidas Jayanti was celebrated today with great fervour and enthusiasm. Union Minister Kumari Sailja participated in a programme organised by Santguru Ravidas Committee at Yamunanagar.

Addressing on this occassion, she called the people to follow the path shown by Guru Ravidas. Kumari Sailja also announced to give 5 lakh rupees to the Committee. Haryana Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda also addressed a function organised on the occasion, at Karnal.
