In Jammu and Kashmir, in a terrorist attack, unidentified gunmen opened fire on passengers travelling in a Jeep near Dyala Chak area of Kathua district on Jammu -Pathankot National Highway this morning. One person was killed while three others were injured seriously. The injured have been admitted at GMC Hospital, Jammu.

The driver along with the vehicle has been kidnapped by the terrorists. Attackers were in army uniform. The incident has taken place in the area adjoining the Indo-Pak border. Our correspondent reports that high alert has been sounded in the area. As per latest reports contact has been established with the militants by the security forces and an encounter has started in Janglot Army Camp of Kathua.
