Gunmen have shot dead four policemen, an army captain and a civilian in an attack on a community outside Nigeria's commercial hub of Lagos. Police said today that the gunmen invaded Owutu-Ishawo in Ikorodu yesterday and kidnapped residents after looting their homes and shops.<br/><br/><br/>Lagos police spokesman Olarinde Famous-Cole told AFP that police were combing the surrounding forests and creeks in search of the attackers.
