In Rajasthan, the Gujjar agitation which started from Pilupura in Bharatpur district nine days back has now spread in at least 16 districts of the state. The protestors are resorting to demonstrations, dharnas and rail and road blockade. They also damaged a few buses during bandh organized in different parts of the state on Monday. The dharna on railway tracks in Pilupura and Manota is still continuing resulting in disruption of train service between Jaipur and Delhi, Agra and Mumbai. The supply of milk, vegetables and fruits has been affected due to disruption in transport services. The Gujjar agitators have given a bandh call in five towns of Ajmer and Jhalawar districts today. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reviewed the law order situation at a high level meeting on Monday night. The issue of survey of SBCs for preparing data base was also discussed. A delegation of communities, other than Gujjars, included in the SBCs also met the Chief Minister and asked him to invite their representatives also in the discussions on reservation issue.
