In Rajasthan, the Chief Minister Mr. Ashok Gehlot has appealed the Gujjar leaders of all political parties to come forward in finding a solution to the ongoing reservation issue. Talking to media persons in Jaipur today, he urged upon these leaders to give their suggestions to ensure reservation to Gujjars and other SBCs. Mr. Gehlot said that these suggestions will be taken into account while filing the reply in the High Court. The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to take all possible steps in ensuring reservation to SBCs. The Union Minister of State for Telecommunication, Mr. Sachin Pilot also visited Jaipur today evening. He met the Power Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh who is a member of Group of Ministers and other Gujjar leaders to find an amicable solution to the problem. After the meeting, Mr. Pilot expressed the hope that the situation will be overcome through mutual talks. He also expressed satisfaction over the way the government is progressing in handling the issue.
