A 45-year-old woman, rescued from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia last week with the help of the External Affairs Ministry, was brought back to Ahmedabad today. <br/><br/>The woman, a native of Dholka town in Ahmedabad district, was rescued after the state Education Minister and Dholka MLA Bhupendrasinh Chudasama came to know about her plight and contacted state Home department officials, who in turn had informed the MEA.<br/><br/>She was allegedly tortured by a Saudi family with whom she was working in Riyadh. The woman arrived at the Mumbai airport early today and was escorted to Ahmedabad by the officials of the Women Crime Branch.'
