<span style="color: #222222;">Gujarat has witnessed the rare annular solar eclipse today when the Sun, the Moon, and the Earth are aligned in a straight line. During this almost straight configuration of the Sun, the Moon and the Earth, the people of Gujarat witnessed a partial solar eclipse in the sky with more than 70 percent Sun covered under the shadow.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to experts, the solar eclipse today is an annular eclipse where the moon is so far from earth that its relative size fails to cover the sun completely and leaves the outer rims visible.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent says solar eclipse lasted for about 3 and half hours starting at 10.03 am and completed at 1.32 pm. The people of Gujarat have witnessed the rare natural phenomenon today in almost 3 and half hour long partial solar eclipse.  According to Gujarat Council on Science and Technology- GUJCOST, the eclipse started at 10.03 am and completed at 1.32 pm with maximum impact at 11.42 am.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">GUJCOST had also made special arrangements to view and study this eclipse for students. Many organization and individuals working on astronomy have organized live and online viewing of this annular Solar eclipse. Founder of Star Gazing India- Narendra Gor told AIR that the people have observed this solar eclipse with full scientific approach.
