<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, the government has decided to gradually resume the economic activities from April 20th in all the areas except the containment zones. Secretary to CM Ashwini Kumar said the decision has been taken as per the guidelines by the centre. He said the containment zones will be sealed where the movement of people will be restricted.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''AIR correspondent reports that the government has already allowed resumption of agricultural activities in the state. All the construction, commercial and industrial activities will be resumed in the state gradually from 20th April. A committee headed by District Collector will issue permissions to the industries in the district. Mr Kumar added that the employers need to take precautionary measures such as temperature checking of employees by thermal guns, transport facilities for them, periodic sanitisation of the factory premises, practising social distancing and wearing of masks among others. The government has also allowed the construction work of roads, irrigation projects outside the city areas. Mr Kumar added that the permission for construction activity within city areas will also be given on the condition of providing good quality shelter facilities to the labourers. All the self-employed people including electricians, plumbers have also been allowed to resume their business from April 20 th but they will have to ensure social distancing.</span><br />
