Gujarat will celebrate its 50th Foundation Day on May 1st. The year-long celebrations have been started throughout the state and abroad also. Quoting official sources, AIR Bhuj correspondent reports that Schools, Government offices, public places have been illuminated in all towns and cities of the State. To mark the occasion several grand gala celebrations have been organised for today and tomorrow in Ahmedabad and Gandhi Nagar. <br/>Meanwhile, AIR correspondent reports that Government has increased the salaries of the fixed salaried Government Employees in the State. One lakh 25 thousand such employees will be benefitted with this pay hike which is going to be implemented from tomorrow.<br/><br/>
