Gujarat: Scrutiny of nomination papers being carried out

In Gujarat, total 313 candidates have filed their nomination papers for 26 Loksabha seats on the last day of filing of nominations yesterday. With this, the total number of nominations filed for 26 Loksabha seats has gone up to 573. At the other end, 55 candidates have filed their nomination papers for by-poll of 4 assembly seats in the state. <br />''<br />''<br />''With this, total number of nominations filed for 4 assembly seats have reached up to 82. By-poll of Unjha, Manavadar, Jamnagar Rural and Dhrangadhra assembly seats will be held along with Lok Sabha elections in the state. <br />'' <br />''Scrutiny of the nomination papers is being carried out today, while the last day for withdrawal of nominations is 8th April.
