In Gujarat, the state police is interrogating the 14 suspected Somalia pirates along with the 3 Yemen Nationals. All 17 persons arrested from Una coast of Saurashtra yesterday, have been kept in the Una police station. Junagadh Superintendent of Police Mr.Dipankar Trivedi told AIR Ahmedabad Correspondent that other Central agencies including Coast Guard, Navy and Customs would also carry out joint interrogations from tomorrow morning. On the basis of the interrogations, case will be registered against the suspected pirates. According to sources, the 3 Yeman Nationals have alleged that the 14 Somalian nationals are pirates and had abducted them with their boat. The Somalians have however claimed that they are innocent.
