In Gujarat, suspended IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt has been arrested in connection with an FIR filed by a police constable against him. Police constable K.D. Pant, who worked under Sanjiv Bhatt during the 2002 Gujarat riots, has registered an FIR accusing Bhatt of threatening him, fabricating false evidence and wrongful confinement.
