In Gujarat, the situation in flood affected areas of Kutch and Saurashtra is fast returning to normal as no fresh rain has been recorded since last evening. Quoting local administration AIR Bhuj correspondent reports that marooned people were rescued by the national Disaster Rescue force in Rapar block early this morning. Water is receding in the region and life is fast returning to normal. Meanwhile, the authorities are trying to restore power supply in affected villages.
