The government today designated a newly-built hospital building on the campus of Ahmedabad civil hospital for the treatment of Covid 19 positive patients.<br />'' <br />''The decision was taken in view of the possibility of a further surge in the number of Covid 19 cases in Ahmedabad. AIR correspondent reports that the hospital has a capacity to treat 228 coronavirus patients. <br />''<br />''Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel visited the new building today. Mr Patel told reporters that the government has made necessary changes in the infrastructure of the building which will be utilised for the treatment of Covid patients whenever a need arises.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mr Patel added that at present, all 33 districts have at least one dedicated hospital, irrespective of the very low number of cases in some districts.</span><br />
