Gujarat Minister of State for Home Amit Shah has asked more time for appearing before CBI in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case. Advocate of Amit Shah, Mr. Mitesh Amin told the media persons that as the case is very old, Shah has asked more time and details of questions to be asked during the interrogation. However, Amit Shah may appear before the CBI at any time, if his request is rejected by the CBI. Meanwhile, a meeting of top BJP leadership is in progress in New Delhi to discuss the party's strategy in the wake of CBI's scheduled questioning of Amit Shah. The meeting being held at the residence of senior BJP leader L K Advani is being attended by the party president Nitin Gadkari and leaders of opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and the leader of opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitely.
