In Gujarat, Chief Minister Anandiben Patel has inaugurated Gujarat ITF Pro 2015 for Women organized by Ahmedabad City Tennis Foundation. The tournament has prize money of US$ 25,000 attached to it. On this occasion, Mrs. Patel also laid foundation stone for Tennis Coaching Academy cum stadium in Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has allocated a piece of land for proposed tennis stadium in Sardar Patel stadium complex in Ahmedabad. Speaking on this occasion ACTF Presidnet Chintan Parikh said that the tournament will have USD 50,000 and even USD 1,00,000 prize money in future. He said that Sports Authority of Gujarat bears 75 percent training cost of players. Players from more than 40 countries will participate in the eight day long tournament .
