In Gujarat, the State health department has initiated series of precautionary measures after the death of a woman due to infection of deadly Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever -CCHF.<br />''<br />'' According to sources, 75 year old Sukhiben Meniya had died recently in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation run SVP Hospital. The blood sample of the deceased woman had been sent to the National Institute of Virology in Pune, which has confirmed that this was the case of Congo fever.<br />'' <br />'' Following the report, the doctors and para-medical staff involved in her treatment have been examined. Two to three of them have flu like symptoms and detailed checking is being carried out. AIR correspondent reports that health department has also started examination of relatives and other people at Jamdi village of Limbdi taluka in Surendranagar district- the native place of the deceased woman.<br />''  <br />
