Gujarat High Court would pronounce its verdict on the bail plea of former Minister of State for Home Amit Shah allegedly involved in Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case today. Shah, who was arrested by CBI in last July had challenged the lower court verdict which had earlier rejected his bail plea. In his petition filed before the High Court, Shah had alleged that the CBI had framed him and there was no evidence to implicate him in the case. However, CBI accused Shah as the mastermind in the fake encounter case and was also part of a larger extortion racket. AIR Ahmedabad Correspondent reports that Gujarat High Court has reserved its order after the completion of counter arguments on Thursday, which is likely to be announced later this afternoon.
