Gujarat High Court today set-aside the election of BJP MLA Pabubha Manek from Dwarka constituency due to error in his nomination form. Justice Paresh Upadhyay held the election void observing that there was a mistake in the Nomination form and is not in accordance with the Representation of the People Act.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Congress candidate of 2017 assembly election, Meraman Goriya had filed the petition in the court saying that the name of the constituency, '82- Dwarka'  was not mentioned in the nomination form of BJP candidate Pabubha Manek. Counsel of petitioner, Babu Mangukiya said that with this, Pabubha Manek has ceased to be the MLA of Dwarka seat. The court has however allowed him to go for appeal in the Supreme Court. Pabubha Manek had defeated Meraman Goriya by a margin of more than 5 thousand votes.</span><br />
