Gujarat High Court is hearing the review petition filed against the lower court’s order of rejecting CBI’s plea for police remand of former Minister Amit Shah. Hearing is on and out come is still awaited. Shah is accused in Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case and at present in Sabarmati Jail under judicial custody. Gujarat High Court had issued notice to Amit Shah- in connection with review petition filed by CBI yesterday. Lower Court had rejected the CBI’s plea for seeking five days police remand of Amit Shah- last Monday, citing reasons including that the agency had already given enough time for interrogation of Amit Shah.
