Congress today said that the Gujarat High Court decision to uphold the appointment of Retired Justice RA Mehta as the Lokayukta by the Governor has exposed the double faced policy of the BJP.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Senior Congress leader and Union Minister Kapil Sibal said that while the BJP demands a strong Lokpal at the Centre, they are not in favour of appointment of Lokayuktas in the States ruled by them. Mr Sibal said that the Narender Modi led government in Gujarat should accept the High Court's decision with respect.
