<span style="color: #222222;">Gujarat government has ramped up the daily testing in view of rising spread of Covid 19 in the state. Yesterday over 88 thousand samples were tested from across the state, of which as many as 2,190 samples were tested positive. The first time since the pandemic began, the daily count has crossed the 2,000-mark in the state.<br />'' <br />'' Six deaths reported in the state during the day taking the toll to 4,479. State health department said a total of 1,422 people were discharged from hospitals during the day. The recovery rate in the state stands at is 95.07 per cent of the total caseload.<br />'' <br />'' The number of active cases breached the 10,000-mark yesterday. At present a total of 10,134 patients are undertaking treatment of Covid 19 in the state.<br />'' <br />''Surat reports 735 new infection cases, the highest in the state, followed by 613 in Ahmedabad, 187 in Vadodara and 164 in Rajkot. Also, more than 47 lakhs people have been vaccinated against coronavirus so far in the state.</span>
