<span style="color: #222222;">Gujarat government has extended night curfew in four major cities till 31st March from today. According to official sources, the night curfew will become effective from 10 pm to 6 am from today following the rising trend of new cases of Covid19 in the state. Earlier, it was effective from 12 in midnight. These four cities are Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot and Vadodara.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports that the number of new cases of Covid19 continues to rise. according to the state health department, Gujarat has recorded the highest ever single-day vaccination.<br />'' <br />'' Total 1 lakh 72 thousand 313 persons were vaccinated in the state yesterday. More than 27 lakh persons have been vaccinated in the state till now. Out of these, 22 lakh 15 thousand 92 persons have been vaccinated for the first dose, while 5 lakh 42 thousand 981 persons have been vaccinated for the second dose.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, 954 new cases of Covid19 reported during the last 24 hours, while 703 patients have been discharged from the hospitals after the recovery.<br />'' <br />'' Total 2 lakh 70 thousand 658 patients have been recovered from Covid19 till now.<br />'' <br />'' At present, Gujarat has 4966 active cases of Covid19, out of which 58 patients are on ventilators. Maximum 292 new cases reported from Surat yesterday. </span>
