Gujarat has bagged gold medal in the state category while from the North Eastern state Meghalaya won the gold medal for showcasing best exhibition in the 30th India International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi today. The fortnight-long Trade Fair will come to a close this evening. In the foreign category, Afghanistan has received a gold medal while silver medal has gone to Thailand. In the category of different Ministries, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has received the gold medal while Power Ministry has won silver. The awards were presented by Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. Speaking on the occasion, she said that the Trade Fair showcased the achievement of the country and the Trade Fair had become the landmark activity not only for Delhi but also for the entire country.
