The second and final phase of Gujarat assembly elections will be held tomorrow in 93 constituencies. <br/><br/>Polling will begin at 8 AM and will continue till 5 PM. Over 2 crore 22 lakh people, including one crore 7 lakh women, are eligible to vote. <br/><br/>The fate of 851 candidates will be decided in this phase. BJP has fielded 93 candidates, and Congress has fielded 91. Prominent candidates include Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel who is contesting from Mahesana, Alpesh Thakor, who is the Congress candidate from Radhanpur, and Jignesh Mewani, who is an independent candidate from Vadgam. <br/><br/>Leader of Congress Legislative Party Mohansinh Rathva is contesting from the tribal constituency of Chhota Udaipur.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, repolling will be held tomorrow in two booths of Jamjodhpur constituency, two booths in Una, one in Nijjar, and one in Umargam. Repolling has been necessitated due to technical snags in EVMS.<br/><br/>Our correspondent reports three-tier security arrangements have been put in place to ensure smooth conduct of polls.
