In Gujarat, the flood situation in bordering district of Kutch is continuing to be worsened in Vagad area since yesterday. AIR Bhuj correspondent reports that affected people are being evacuating with the help of Special Rescue Teams which has been pressed into service. The relief and rescue operations have been geared up. A huge damage to the standing crops of groundnut and cotton is estimated by the Agriculture Department in entire Kutch and Saurashtra region.
