<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, the total number of positive cases crossed 23,000 mark today with the addition of 517 cases in the last 24 hours. This is the highest number of cases detected in a single day so far.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">As per the statement issued by the state health department, 33 patients died due to the virus yesterday. With this the death toll in the city rose to 1449. As many as 390 patients&nbsp; including 255 from Ahmedabad were discharged from the hospitals during the day.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that this is for the forth time in the month of June that the total 500 plus cases reported in a single day .</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Ahmedabad district reported the highest 16,306 cases in the state. The death toll remains alarming in the Ahmedabad. So far, around 80 percent of the total deaths reported in the state have been reported in Ahmedabad district alone.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, As part of the Smart City project, Ahmedabad municipal corporation has started issuing e chalan to the people not wearing masks in the public.</span><br />
