In Gujarat, the number of new cases of COVID-19 is constantly reducing. According to the State Health Department, the recovery rate has further improved to 96.07 per cent. AIR correspondent reports that Gujarat has recorded 490 new cases of COVID-19 during past 24 hours. The total number of COVID-19 cases detected so far in the state has reached two lakh 57 thousand 42.<br />''<br />''Out of these, two lakh 47 thousand 223 patients recovered. In all, 707 patients discharged from the hospitals after recovery during the past 24 hours. Maximum 105 new cases were reported from Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 98 new cases. At present, total active cases in the state are 5,748, out of which 51 patients are on ventilator. Two patients died yesterday taking the total deaths due to COVID-19 up to 4,371.<br />
