Record 63,031 tests were carried out yesterday. Out of 1145 new cases, the maximum 166 new cases were reported from Surat. Ahmedabad city recorded 146 new cases during the last 24 hours. Total cases of Covid19 in the state have gone up to 82087. At present 14418 active cases in the state, out of which 81 patients are on ventilator. At the other end, 1120 patients have been discharged from various hospitals after recovery. With this, the total patients recovered from Covid19 have gone up to 64830. 17 patients have lost their lives yesterday, taking the total death due to Covid19 in the state up to 2839. Meanwhile, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has added 23 new areas in the micro containment zone following detection of new cases.</span><br />
