<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, 1204 new cases of Covid19 recorded yesterday. Recovery rate has further improved to 80 percent.  More than 16 lakh 20 thousand tests have been carried out in the state till date. Record 72857 tests were carried out yesterday. Out of 1204 new cases, the maximum 169 new cases reported from Surat. Ahmedabad city recorded 156 new cases during the last 24 hours.<br />''<br />''Total cases of Covid19 in the state have gone up to 84466. At present 14320 active cases in the state, out of which 89 patients are on ventilator. At the other end, 1324 patients have been discharged from various hospitals after recovery. With this, the total patients recovered from Covid19 have gone up to 67277. 14 patients have lost their lives yesterday, taking the total death due to Covid19 in the state up to 2869. Meanwhile Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has added 26 new areas in micro containment zones after detection of new cases. </span><br />
