Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today reached out to 162 Nagarpalikas on the occasion of 61st Foundation Day of the state. Talking through the video conferencing, Mr. Rupani appealed to ensure all necessary preventive steps to combat and contain COVID-19. He said that local urban bodies should fine people not wearing masks, spitting and littering in public places.<br />'' <br />'' Chief Minister asked the Presidents, Vice-Presidents, Standing Committee Chairmen and Chief Officers of the Nagarpalikas to monitor the unnecessary movement of the people, maintain register of visitors entering the town after proper testing, prepare list of old age people and those suffering from serious diseases.He also asked the Nagarpalikas to prepare 15-day plan for distribution of Homoeopathic and Ayurvedic medicines, concoctions like Ukala to increase people's immunity against the deadly virus.
