Gujarat CM inaugurates 1,000-bedded hospital in Surat

<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today inaugurated the newly set up 1,000-bedded hospital in Surat through video conferencing from Gandhinagar.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that the new hospital has been set up within the short span of 15 days at the Surat Civil hospital campus and will have 211 ICU beds. Chief Minister said, the new hospital will not only provide adequate beds, but also offer modern treatment facilities to the COVID-19 patients. He said, with the addition of these beds, the total bed capacity in Surat will be more than 3,300.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Rupani added that the government is focusing on micro-planning, intensive surveillance and doorstep medical services such as Dhanvanatari Rath to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the city.</span><br />''  <br />
