Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has announced 16 per cent rebate in gas bill to the ceramic industry in the state. According to the official press release, this will exempt the ceramic industry from Rs.2.50 per standard cubic meter (SCM) hike by Gujarat Gas Company Limited and Sabarmati Gas Limited. AIR Ahmedabad correspondent reports that this decision will help the ceramic industry, which is passing through difficult times in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
