Gujarat Chief Minster Anandiben Patel today formally handed over her resignation to the Governor O.P. Kohli.<br/><br/>This comes after BJP's Central Parliamentary board accepted her offer to quite the top post this morning. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, BJP's Gujarat in-charge Mr. Dinesh Sharma said that Governor has accepted the resignation tendered by Ms Anandiben Patel. <br/><br/>Governor has also asked her to continue as care taker Chief Minister till the alternate arrangement has been made.<br/><br/>Addressing the media persons, Mr. Dinesh Sharma said that meeting of Gujarat BJP legislative party to elect the new leader will be held on Friday or Saturday. <br/><br/>He said that Central observer deputed by the Party High command Mr. Nitin Gadkari is pre-occupied till tomorrow. <br/><br/>The date and time of BJP's legislative Party meeting would be finalized, once the Central party observers Nitin Gadkari, Saroj Pandey and BJP's National President Amit Shah reach Gujarat. He said that the time and date of swearing in ceremony will be decided by the new leader of the BJP's legislative party.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, state Health Minister Nitin Patel has said that the new leader of the BJP legislative party will be decided by the Party high command and members of the BJP legislative party. <br/><br/>Talking to media, he said that any decision taken by the party high command will be honoured by all party members.
