Gujarat BJP Legislature party meeting is likely to be held tomorrow to elect the new leader after the resignation of Anandiben Patel as the Chief Minister. <br/><br/>BJP President Amit Shah will be travelling to Gujarat today where he will hold consultations with party leaders and attend the Legislature Party meeting. <br/><br/>He has been authorized by Party's Parliamentary Board to announce the name of new Gujarat Chief Minister after the meeting.<br/><br/>AIR Ahmedabad correspondent reports that Chief Minster Anandiben Patel formally handed over her resignation to the Governor O.P. Kohli last evening. Governor has asked her to continue as care taker chief Minister till the alternate arrangement has been made.
