<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, the State Administration has geared up to tackle the possible cyclonic storm Nisarga that is likely to hit the south Gujarat coast by 3rd of this month. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani held a high-level meeting with the higher officials and District Collectors of South Gujarat and Saurashtra today. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that parts of Union Territories of Daman and Diu, coastal districts of South Gujarat and Saurashtra including Surat, Valsad, Navsari and Bhavnagar are witnessing moderate to heavy rainfall since morning.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The coastal districts of South Gujarat namely Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad and Bharuch have been put on high while two districts of Saurashtra Amreli and Bhavngar have also been put on . Ten teams of NDRF and five teams of SDRF have been deployed in the coastal areas. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today instructed all the concerned District Collectors to complete the shifting of people from low lying areas to safer places by tomorrow afternoon. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Collectors have been asked to ensure social distancing, use of masks and PPE suits during the evacuation process. Control Rooms have been activated at the state as well as district level for exchange of information.
