<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, the President of Ahmedabad Hospitals and Nursing Homes Association (AHNA) Dr. Bharat Gadhvi said that 90 per cent Covid-19 beds are occupied in the city's private hospitals. He said that most of the ventilators are also occupied. AHNA regularly s the data of availability and occupancy of Covid beds in&nbsp; private hospitals in Ahmedabad on its website.&nbsp;AIR Ahmedabad correspondent reports that this situation is due to an increasing number of active cases in the city.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to the Ahmedabad Hospital and Nursing Homes Association, the active cases in the city have increased significantly in comparison to 3 months back. Ahmedabad Medical Association has also urged the state government to ensure the beds in the city hospitals for local patients.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;According to AMA a large number of patients from other cities and neighbouring states are occupying the Covid beds in city hospitals. Meanwhile, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has imposed complete close down in many posh and busy areas of the city after 10 pm. This was decided after the large scale violations of compulsory mask and social distancing norms.</span><br />
