In Gujarat, the main function was held at Bhavnagar, where Governor Dr. Shrimati Kamala unfurled the tricolor in the presence of Chief Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries. Showers of flowers from the Air Force helicopters and colorful march past along with beautiful tableaux were the main attractions of Republic day Parade. Flag hoisting ceremonies have also been organized at all districts and block headquarters. National flag was also unfurled at the state headquarters of Congress and BJP in Ahmedabad.
