<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, 34 fresh cases for Covid 19 reported in the last 12 hours taking the total number of confirmed cases to 572. State Health Department said 25 cases were reported from Ahmedabad, 5 from Vadodara, 3 from Bharuch and one from Panchmahal. Total seven persons have been discharged from the hospital.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In view of the rising number of cases, State DGP Shivanand Jha said that surveillance and patrolling in the state will be further enhanced to ensure the effective implementation of the lockdown. Police will increase the number of check posts in the hotspots and quarantined zones to keep track on the entry and exit of people. Random checking of the CCTV cameras in residential societies will be done to book people who break lockdown orders.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Jha said police will set up dhaba points on the places where CCTV or drone surveillance is not possible. Meanwhile, private schools in Gujarat will not hike fees in the coming academic year and will offer flexibility to poor parents to pay March to May months fees in installments.
