In Gujarat counting of votes for all 182 constituencies spread over 26 districts will take place tomorrow. All arrangements have been completed for counting of votes. A total of 33 places have been selected for counting of votes at district headquarters. In most of the district counting will be held at one place at district headquarters.
AIR correspondent reports that in the beginning post ballets will be counted. About 8 thousand state and central government employees have been engaged in vote counting.

Election commission observers will remain present at counting places. The counting and results will be announced with the approval of concerned observers of the constituency.
Polling was held in the state in two phases and above 71 per cent polling was recorded. A total of 1666 candidates including 95 women are in contest in the state assembly elections.
