NCP Chief Sharad Pawar has said that his party will contest the coming Gujarat Assembly elections in alliance with the Congress. He said in Vadodara that his party will have a seat-sharing arrangement with the Congress, as they want to prevent division of votes which could benefit the BJP in the state. Mr Pawar said, under the seat-sharing agreement in 2007 Assembly polls, NCP was allotted eight seats, of which, the party manged to win three seats. He said, they want more seats this time.
