Guinness World Records recognises achievement of BRO for constructing world's highest motorable road

Official adjudicator of the Guinness World Records Rishi Nath acknowledged this remarkable achievement in a virtual ceremony.<br />''<br />''On the occasion, Lt Gen Rajeev Chaudhry said that this road construction tested both the human spirit and efficacy of machines in an extremely tough terrain where temperatures in winters dip to Minus 40 degrees and oxygen levels are 50 percent below normal.</span><br />
